To The Black Man in the White House

10 July 2009

To the President of the United States Barack Obama

We write with deep concerns as followers of the movements of the American People under the direction of you as the first Coloured President of America.

It saddens us very deeply and seriously when the few words you spoken that was splashed across our televisions Australia-wide and we found it very insulting that a man of your high calibre and being a Coloured Man from the Dark Shadows of the past of all Dark People that you spoke your concerns as President of the United States of America unto the Jackson Family who lost a very high calibre entertainer who was their son Michael Jackson.

The words you offered on the public system worldwide was that the passing of Michael Jackson was over with now and that the world and all the Coloured People who mourn the pasing of him was told by you to put that behind us.

These are the People from misery and shadows of the poor streets who cried and danced for joy when you started your push to become the President of the United States of America.

You claim that the nuclear concern of the atomic bomb was a big risk worldwide. Truer words have never been spoken.

We call on you as the Aboriginal People and Traditional Owners of the Swan River and Swan Coastal Plains of Perth Western Australia to put pressure on Kevin Rudd the Prime Minister of Australia, to leave the Uranium in the ground where it belongs. It is a devastating thing to dig out.

We remember Hiroshima.

We ask you as the Black Man living in the White House, why do we not see you taking photos with Cheyenne Indians, Arapaho, The Crow and the Apache? We see not you meeting with world leaders of the Suffering of the back lanes, sleeping in parks and pipes.

We see you with world leaders speaking of world problems when America and its back streets are full of problems, Human Suffering.

In Australia, where the riches of the iron ore and everything that is dug out of the ground, gold, silver, diamonds and uranium, taking it off to China to make the atomic weapons and things.

We asked you before in writing to come to Australia and meet with Aboriginal People. We are the world leaders of our Suffering and our Culture.

And we asked you to meet with Red Indians who have gone through the same things that we have.

We ask you to go to Wounded Knee and stand with the Indians in mourning for what happened there. We also ask you to go to Little Big Horn and stand with Red American Indians and be silent and listen to the screams of the women and children and the Suffering that they encountered.

Everyone who walks upon the land of America should be recognised as Human Beings. The same applies in Australia with Aboriginal People and where ever Humans tread no matter what Nationality they are.

We ask you to respect the Jackson Family for losing their son, and to respect all people, Black or white, when they are in mourning of losing their loved one.

We say unto you Black Man in the White House, walk down the back alleys, walk down to the poor areas of the slums, go to New Orleans and sit down with your Coloured People, the same people that danced and cried and voted for you that put you in the White House of America.

We the Aboriginal People of the Swan Coastal Plains of Perth Western Australia challenge you to that task.
